Tahiti, inspired by the Maui tribes from Polynesia, is a mask embodying traits from Polynesian culture. Certain keywords used when designing this mask were organic, flow, and caged. 

Made entirely out of recycled cardboard, I made out the pieces individually and start to apply plaster as well as wall putty to solidify its shape. As for the curves, I used thin steel wires to retain its shape when plastering.
